The Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga 11S, Four Ways to Use, One Lean Machine.

I was scouting for new gadget that i could get my hands on when at the corner of my eye, i saw this gadget, standing on the display counter seeming to be like a tent, a lean-to structure (Inverted letter ‘V’) in striking orange. So, i went near it to take a closer look and give it a shot. To my surprise and amazement, it did pretty much everything that a notebook, a tablet and A laptop can do.
Here are the features that I think would draw people to buy this beautiful, all-in-one gadget:
Full Windows 8 Version OS – unlike its predecessor, the IdeaPad 13, for 13″, which used Windows RT, the 11S boasts of full Windows 8 OS. Lower powered, and had limitations on what applications can be run.

World’s Thinnest and Lightest 17- Inch Gaming Laptop

Despite of what seems to be the weakness of a portable gaming device such as trying to compact a powerful gaming performance into a small stuff and trying to make it not heavy and not so thick, laptop gaming developers continue their quest to overcome these issues.

I have seen these challenges from the gaming laptops that were developed in the past years. The power features were perfect but the physical design had limitations. The almost 2 inch thickness and the 3-4 kg weight of such devices were not so portable anymore.

But these hurdles for the laptop developers has been leaped. MSI, the Taiwan based company has just launched what it claims as the world’s thinnest and lightest 17-inch gaming laptop.

The new MSI GS70 weighs just 5.73lbs and .85 inch thick . Being thin like most of the ultrabook laptops, it holds a powerful gaming experience with Core i7-4700HQ processor, combined with 16GB DDR3 RAM, two 128GB mSATA SSDs in RAID configuration alongside with 1TB hard drive, a Nvidia GeForce GTX 765M graphics card with 2GB GDDR5, and a 1920 x 1080 17-inch Anti-Reflective display.

Released last  July 22, 2013, Leap Motion Controller is a small, lightweight device that allows control of computers with the movement of your fingers. Yes it is almost like what you’ve seen in futuristic movie Minority Report starring Tom Cruise. An elegant  replacement to the mouse  or an alternative to touchscreen, you can navigate a website, draw with high-precision, play games and much more.

This is not really a new breakthrough we have seen. 3D Motion Control Technology has been awhile like what we have enjoyed in Microsoft’s Kinect for Xbox 360. However, Leap Motion Controller has expanded to more than just mere entertainment. These are the device’s new offering :
