Jibo, which almost look like Eve from Wall-E, is an 11 inch tall, 6 pounds robot that can be your photographer when you have a party at home, read stories to your children, order you pizza or shop online. And more as it learns and adapts to your needs.

Creator Cynthia Breazeal, an MIT professor social robotics expert, said in an interview that “Jibo doesn’t replace people and human relationships; rather, it is designed to support, complement and extend what we need from others in an affordable, effective and delightful way so that we can succeed, thrive and grow.”

Get Ready Siri, BlackBerry Is Bouncing Back With Voice-Enabled Assistant

Move over Siri, Google Now and Cortana! Blackberry Assistant is here. The app, together with Blackberry Passport smartphone, will be available starting this  fall.

The Assistant can perform various voice-activated tasks such as searching your inbox and calendar, access the web or social networks, writing and sending emails as well as creating calendar entries or even checking the weather.  It is compatible with Bluetooth-enabled devices, making it suitables for hands-free car use. The new feature will also complete tasks using the Passport’s new touch-sensitive physical keyboard, usually without leaving the app.
